Writing about History

Writing About History


       You will be assigned a topic related to American history during the early 1900's. You will research the topic and discover the who, what, where, when, and why of your topic.  Who does this involve? What is it all about? Where did this happen? When did it happen? Why is it important to American History? How does my topic relate to what we are learning in social studies?

You will write a paper about your topic. It can be a simple, three paragraph paper with an introduction, main paragraph, and a conclusion.

     You will take organized notes. You will be required to use one page for each separate website or resource that you use for research.

    You will use your notes to write a coherent, legible paper in a Google Document. It must align with our rubric that can be found HERE.


You then create a presentation in Google Slides that is at least 10 slides, includes 5 pictures, and your presentation should follow the expectations in the rubric, shown below:
